GIGATHLON: Die "Vliegens" zu Gast bei den Schweizern!!

If you think of doing something crazy you can think of running a marathon. If you think of doing something more crazy... try a triathlon. If you want everybody to think you are crazy... do a Gigathlon.

This years edition "Energize your life" takes you through Switzerland in 7 days, but not by car.

time: 7 days
distance: 1432km
climb: 26.7 km
disciplines: swimming, cycling, mountainbiking, running, inline skating
Place: Switzerland
Only the +-3 km swimming each day is without any climb. This is not an event for any sportsminded person. You have to be in very good shape and be a little bit crazy.
Do you remember the very hard training weeks of150-160 km running?
* Add the same amount of inline skating
* Add 100km of cycling each day
* Add 50km of mountainbiking each day (don't forget to climb 4000m each day)
* Add 3km of Swimming each day, than you have your Gigathlon.

Two Belgian orienteers participate in this crazy adventure. Tina Gartz-Vliegen and Erik Vliegen. They were both winner of the Belgian Championship Mountainbike Orienteering. Eric was a good orienteer as a junior but Orienteering probably wasn't challanging enough for them...

Some more information about Tina and Erik.

FRSO kampioenschap manche 5 : Rohrbusch

Norwegian O-festival

Long distance WRE:
Yesterday (saturday 24/06) a World ranking event took place during the Norsk O-festival.
It was a technical race with nice orienteering between the bogs, different stones and vegetationplaces, also the snow was still present in the forest.
In the H21E1 class the vicroty went to Thiery Gueorgiou. He was 2'27 faster then Valentin Novikov and more than 4' advantage on Francois Gonon. Homerunner Holger Hott became 4th.
In the D21E1 class the winner was Simone Niggli. Lena Eliasson became 2nd and Tatiana Ryabkina made the podium complete.

Belgium:
Fabien Pasquasy did a good race, he became 31th. On the long leg (6-7) he lost 7' because of a mistake. Conclusion: top10 had been possible, and he proved that his physical shape is very good. Etienne VanGasse (also in a physical good shape) became 58th because of too many mistakes. Christophe Bernard and Joost Talloen were happy about their technical orienteering part, but they don't have the same physical capacity as the best runners (at the moment).

On the map you can see the route choices from Christophe Bernard (H21E1).

In the second elite class, we still had an other Belgian participator: Jean-Baptiste Colomb. He was 30' slower than winner Thomas Hodel and became 52th.

Relay on sunday:
In the men class Kristiansand OK (Andersen, Duncan, Rostrup, Hott) took the victory. The 2nd place went to Baekkelagets and Halden SK became 3th.
The Belgian team run surprising good. They became 17th, 17' slower than KOk and lost only 5' on the French team. Fabien Pasquasy, once again, did a good first-leg-run and finsihed in 5th spot. The 2nd runner was Etienne Van gasse, he stood firm and changed over in 5th position. Joost Talloen, our 3th runner, lost a few places and handed over in 10th position. Chrisophe Bernard wasn't too stressed and finsihed finally as 17th! A nice result!
In the womenclass Nydalens SK (Ingvild Gjessing, Aasne Fenne Hoksrud, Elisabeth Ingvaldsen and Marianne Andersen) was the best, with a 7' lead on Fredrikstad and Baekkelaget.

No surprises in Worldcup

Different terrain but same winners in the World Cup in Norway today. In the womens class, it was once again 'Simone Niggli-Show'. Straight from the start she took the lead. And with amazing speed she overclassed her opponents. After 1/3th of the race she already caught up Heli Jukola with two minutes. Jukola was able to run at the same speed, wich resulted in a second place. Third spot was for the Russian Julia Novikova closely followed by Emma Engstrand.

Thierry Gueorgiou at World Cup 2006 - orienteeringtoday.com

The mens class was a different story. The whole race was a close fight between Novikov and Gueorgiou. On the second radio control, Novikov had a 30 seconds lead on Gueorgiou. But in the end it was once again Gueorgiou who won. Mats Haldin proved one more time his very good shape this season with a second place. Vice worldchampion Marc Lauenstein, became third.

The Belgian proud Fabien Pasquasy did not make his best race, but still finished on a respectable 41st place. With John Are Myhren on the 42th place, Belgium was again best in the Benelux. The other Belgians run a close race in the B-final. In the slipstream of Torben Wendler, Van gasse was the fastest of them with a 8th place. Joost Talloen was 9th and Christophe Bernard 13th, all finishing in nearly the same minute.

STARTLIST WORLDCUP - Fabien in A-final !!

The startlist of tonights Worldcup is online.
In mens class as in womens class there are not 50 but 51 listed in the A-final.

In womens class it's Becky Carlyle and in Mens class it's Fabien Pasquasy who seems to be added afterwards.
The new rule includes that the highest ranked in the World Ranking are added to the 40 + 5 best of A+B-final in Finland. So minimal 5 are added to obtain the number of 50. But in mens class there are 19 men added because 13 didn't subscribe for this event.

Fabien currently is ranked 119th in the world ranking. Thibaut Magne (129), J-Baptiste Bourrin (120) and Anders Skarholt (141) are ranked lower. It's not really clear why Anders Skarholt (141) is in the A-final. Maybe a little trick of the organisers to have one more norwegian in the A-final.

With this trick Norway has 8 men in tha A-final although . Olav Lundanes is the 9th runner in the B-final. Thereby Norway is one of 4 countries who subscribe the maximal of runners for this worldcup together with Great Brittain, Danmark and Belgium. It seems that countries like Finland and Czech Republic decided to subscribe only the ones who were automaticly in the A-final.

It's obvious that the new rules has not really increased the level of the competitions but has more an effect on the subscriptions of the countries. This probably is not what IOF wanted to obtain.

Also H/D20 was WRE.

An other favourit in the women-class was the German junior runner Esther Doetsch. She told on her website that she was very motivated to run the Sprint champ in Bottrop. She started very fast, but her race also finished very fast. When she was running for 40'', she wanted to pass a biker. But the biker changed her direction. Esther Doetsch fell down on the ground and stayed there for 3min to recover. Finally she still finished her qualification run. But her foot was too painfull to start in the final and in the long distance race on sunday. But participating at jwoc will be no problem. (source)

On the first picture we see the young (nearly 18years old) German runner Marie Winkler, who won the longdistance competition.

On the second picture: Stephanie Killmann from Austria. She is also selected for jwoc in australia.

Kalevan Rasti wins Jukola 2007

(English text from jukola2007.net) Saturday evening 22.00, more than 1300 runners appeared at the start of jukola 2007. It wasn't totally dark, but everyone was wearing a headlamp and was waiting for the start.
When the sign was given, all teams started with an amazing speed, visible on the picture below. Jukola 2007 has begun!

Jukola 2007 was begonnen!

Rasti-Kurikka to the lead
Sami Löfbacka from Rasti-Kurikka brought his team the leading position at the first changeover. Löfbacka had run the entire length close to the lead but managed to squeeze a 2-second advantage over Stora Tuna IK from Sweden.
Löfbacka says he knew he was close to the lead ever since the third control. At times the top men advanced together and at times they parted ways toward different controls.
"I had to be careful throughout the leg as the terrain is rather subtle in features. There was no room for losing focus."
On the 2nd spot we found the young (22) Czech Republic runner Jan Prochazka (Stora Tuna IK) and in 3th postion our national hero Fabien Pasquasy (SNO3).
Last year's winner Vehkalahden Veikot was also fighting for the lead. Jonne Lehto was 7th to arrive at changeover, 20 seconds behind Rasti-Kurikka.
Halden SK (Bjorn Eriksen) lost 5min. Also Frenchman Philippe Adamski from one of the favorites, Kalevan Rasti, however made a big mistake and was left over 7.5 minutes from the lead despite the fact that he was able to improve his orienteering towards the end of the leg.
An other Belgian opening-leg-runner, Bart Delobel (if brahe) became 104th.

Rasti-Kurikka keeps its lead
Rasti-Kurikka kept up its speed on the second leg of Jukola Relay. Matti Vainionpää was the first to reach changeover and was followed by Swedish teams Södertälje Nykvarn and Stora Tuna IK.
It was easy for Vainionpää to smile after having sent Mikko Hölsö off to the third leg.
"Course Setter Petri Saari said that this is a competition for experienced men and it does look like he was right", says 39-year-old Vainionpää.
Rajamäen Rykmentti was 4th at changeover, 2.41 minutes from the lead. The remainder of Rajamäki's orienteers are extremely strong and thus the team has risen to be one of the favorites. Vehkalahden Veikot kept its position close to the lead positioning 6th after the changeover.
Samuli Launiainen from Kalevan Rasti lifted its team up to 17th place.
"Everything is still possible despite the time difference", says Launiainen.
One of the surprisers of the second leg was 18-year-old Olli-Markus Taivainen of Pellon Ponsi whose time was one of the fastest despite a couple-of-minute mistake towards the end of the leg

Södertälje takes the lead
After the 2nd leg Rasti-Kurikka was still in the lead, followed by SNO and Stora Tuna Ik. Swedish team Södertälje Nykvarn Orientering took the lead of Jukola Relay as the third leg drew to a close with all the teams having had run the exact same distance at 35 kilometres. Second at changeover was the defending champion Vehkalahden Veikot 1.5 minutes behind the lead.
Rasti-Kurikka was still leading the race 10 kilometres into the leg but dropped to the 5th place after Mikko Hölsö's big mistake. Kalevan Rasti was 10th, 4 minutes behind Södertälje.
Norwegian-born Jon-Are Myhren of Södertälje now represents the Dutch national team as he wants to take part in international championships.
Simo-Pekka Fincke from Vehkalahden Veikot experienced some difficulty early in the leg. First he struggled finding the first control and then his compass broke.
"Good job I had a spare compass with me", says the relieved Fincke.
Joost Talloen (OK Skogshjortarna), the 3th Belgian participator also run the 3th leg. He finished in 246th position, 23min slower than Topi Anjala.

4th leg:
The final scene is starting to take form after the fourth leg which was approximately 7.5 kilometres in length. Swedish team Södertälje Nykvarn kept its leading position but Vehkalahden Veikot squeezed the gap down to less than a minute. Hannu Airila from Kalevan Rasti had a superb leg and was third at changeover just over 3 minutes behind Södertälje.
Tore Sandvik from Halden SK was 8th at changeover and thus ensured a good position for the team to start from for the last three legs. Vaajakosken Terä was lagging over 15 minutes from the lead.

Vehkalahti snatches the lead
Vehkalahden Veikot moves to the lead as the 5th leg draws to a close. Babtiste Rollier from Switzerland brought Vehkalahti to the changeover 51 seconds before Södertälje. Kalevan Rasti was 4 minutes and Norwegian team Halden SK 5.3 minutes from the lead.
"I am happy with the leading position but my leg was not completely error-free. I had to take the trickier parts very slow", says Rollier.
Miika Hernelahti from Kalevan Rasti thinks the course setter has managed to put together a demanding course. "The orienteering was not all pottering about, there was some serious running, too", says Hernelahti.

Kalevan Rasti in the lead at the final changeover
Simo Martomaa organised a good position for Kalevan Rasti and anchor Thierry Gueorgiou to start from for the final leg. The Frenchman dived into the woods before Halden SK's anchor Mats Haldin was handed the map by Emil Wingstedt. The gap between the two leading teams at the final changeover was exactly a minute.
"I didn't run very well at the beginning in particular but luckily I had no trouble finding the controls. I took some minor risks at the end of the leg in order to make sure our anchor could take off alone", says Martomaa.

Kalevalan Rasti is the Jukola winner 2007
Kalevan Rasti is the Virkiä-Jukola winner. The victory ended up being very clear indeed as anchor Thierry Gueorgiou finished 4.10 minutes before Halden SK's Mats Haldin who was second to cross the finishing line.
Kalevan Rasti got off to a bad start and seemed to have lost any chance for victory, but leg by leg the team drew closer to the lead. Anchor Thierry Gueorgiou ensured the victory with his error-free final leg. He read the map accurately without letting his pace slow and made an ideal choice for the route.
Vehkalahden Veikot, who came third, lost the game to Halden SK after Tero Föhr's mistakes at the final control points. Mats Haldin even had enough time for a mistake at the second last control as Föhr had to search for the third last control long enough to be caught up by IFK Lidingö SOK's Emil Lauri, who had a good run towards the end. Föhr, however, was able to hold on to his lead and eventually finished third with a 7-second difference.
Virkiä-Jukola turned out to be a feast for Finns with both the Venla and the Jukola Relay victories being gained by Finnish teams.

Asikkalan Raikas wint Venla-jukola

Volledige uitslag

English version

Mannen:

(foto: OS 1976 Innsbruck goud 50 km)

Tot zover een beetje geschiedenis. Wat brengt het weekend? Spektakel!

How to keep your direction on this map?

Which follow should I take to punch all controls in the shortest distance? The right combination is : 5-4-11-1-10-9-6-8-7-2-12-13-19-25-24-23-18-21-22-17-20-16-15-14-3 (only 3.4 km, if you take all the controls in the numerical follow, you will run 6.4 km).

Gueorgiou beats Haldin

The Frenchman Francois Gonon started as runner number 8 and he run the first strong time. The distance of the men A-final was 3,3km, and Gonon run 14'50 during his race. A lot of good runners tried to beat him, but failed. One of them, the Finnish runner Tero Föhr, started as number 32 and finsihed 18'' slower than Gonon. He lost all the time in the first part of the race.
But it had to be possible to run a faster time; Vesa Taanila started 8'' faster during the first 1,6km, but he couldn't hold this same speed.
The Swedish runner Emil Wingstedt (and always good in sprintraces) was the next one who tried to beat Gonon. He started very fast, 16'' faster than Gonon at the first radiocontrol (1,6km). He was the first one who was able to hold his high speed (and his advantage) till the end. The run a new best time: 14'38.
Marten Bostrom and Jonas Pilblad started too slow to win. So only the 3 qualification winners still had a chance to win the final: Audun Weltzien, Thierry Gueorgiou and Mats Haldin.
And it became a very exciting end. The 3 famous runners started very strong and were all top4 at the first radio control. The first one who made a mistake was Audun Weltzien, and a big one. He lost nearly 2' and fell back into last position.
The fight between Gueorgiou and Haldin was very close, they changed over the 1st position several times. Three controls before the end Mats Haldin had a gap of 7'', normally this was enough to win. But he lost 4'' on his way to the 2nd last control and even 18'' to the last control. Thierry Guergiou took his chance and won the exciting WC-sprint final.

Results:
1 Thierry Gueorgiou 14:20.9
2 Mats Haldin 14:36.8 +15.9
3 Emil Wingstedt 14:38.6 +17.7
4 François Gonon 14:50.1 +29.2

B-final (Top5 selected for A-final in Norway):
1 Martin Johansson 15:03.8
2 Øystein Kristiansen 15:44.1 +40.3
3 Evgueni Fadeev 15:57.9 +54.1
4 William Lind 16:08.4 +1:04.6
5 Klaus Schgaguler 16:13.3 +1:09.5
8 Fabien Pasquasy 16:20.9 +1:17.1
35 Joost Talloen 18:05.2 +3:01.4
Etienne Van Gasse DSQ

Fabien Pasquasy once again 8'' too slow. A really unlucky day for him. At the 2nd last control he was still running in 4th position, but he made a mistake to the last control. He lost 50 seconds and his top5 spot, so he has to run a B-final in Norway...
Etienne didn't punch the 2nd control (his time: 17'51). It's possible that Etienne made the same mistake as Daniel Hubman (who was ill last week). Hubman explained that the 2nd control of the men-track was placed very close in the neighbourhood of a 'women-control'. Without checking the number, Hubman punched here the wrong control.
Joost Talloen run a good race without big mistakes. In Norway (middle distance event) Christophe Bernard will also run for the Belgian team, and ofcourse he has to run in the B-final too.
Maybe the position will still change because some runners had a 'DNF', but when you check their splittimes, they took all the controls. But only Olle Kärner run 2'' faster than Fabien. So he's still 8'' too slow for a 5th spot, a pitty.

Movie:
The Swedish youngster Elin A Skantze made her first appearance at a worldcup event. Simone Niggli-Luder took the victory only 3,7seconds faster than Helena Jansson. And Thierry Gueorgiou tells us more about his race. All this subjects are visible on this video made by orientering.se.

Simone Luder winner in 1st WC-event 2007

Simone Niggli Luder, the big favourit and number one in the world ranking, won the A-final. The race became a close fight between her and the Swedish runner Helena Jansson.
Simone Luder immediately took the lead during the race, a little bit faster than Helena Jansson and Dana Brozkova. After 2km Dana Brozkova made a mistake (50'' to the 10th control), so there were only 2 candidates to win this sprint event. At the end Helena Jansson came very close, but Simone Niggli-Luder won with 4'' in advantage..

Results WC Qualification Race

Todat the Worldcup finally started. The first competition was a sprint qualifciation race in Finland. The men run today, in 3 qualification heats, a track from 3km. The distance of the women race was 2,5km. Results are visible below.

The Belgian results: no one is qualified for A-final. Fabien Pasquasy was very close, but 8'' too slow (he run the fastest time on 4 different legs). But pitty, he made also a few mistakes of 10'' each time. Also Etienne Vangasse run 2 fastest leg-times, but made a big mistake to his 3th control. Here he lost 2'10 and his A-final! Now they have to try te get in top5 in B-final, if they want to run a A-final in the 2nd WC-race in Norway. But that won't be easy, because in this case they have to beat runners like Martin Johansson, Jonne Lakanen, Oystein Kristiansen, Kaas Carl Waaler, Tomas Dlabaja, Marc Lauenstein, Stig Alvestad, Tue Lassen and Olle Kärner (all of them will run B-final).

Pasquasy in Finland

Fabien Pasquasy is preparing for Jukola with his team SNO. His teammate Thomas Dlabaja put a movie on his website of their relay-training yesterday, filmed by Henrik Skoglund. Other SNO-runners in the movie: Anders Tiltnes, Pal Skogtjärn, Petr Losman, Michal Smola, Isak Bergman, Thomas Dlabaja, Torbjörn Sagberg, John Fredriksson, Anders Skarholt and the only woman Asa Franzen. Enjoy with us..

The article about their training

Two other belgian runners (Joost Talloen and Bart Delobel) will participate at jukola too. Their teams are visible below. We don't know or Etienne Van Gasse (who will run WC in Finland) will also participate at jukola, maybe one of our readers can tell us?

This year the 59th jukola-relay will take place in Lapua in Finland. The event center is situated right at the center of Lapua city, at the foot of majestic Mount Simpsiö, the highest point of the open plain. This year the terrain will be much tougher than the last 3 organisations. This time we don't have to expect km-times below 4min/km (remember Marten Boström in 2004: 8,5km in 31'37).

Last year Vehkalahden Veikot (Tero Föhr) took the victory, only 43'' faster than Kalevan Rasti (Thierry Gueorgiou) and 1'02 than Tampereen Pyrintö (Evgeny Fadeev). SNO (Matthias Muller) became the first non-finnish club on the 4th spot. Halden SK (Mats Haldin) became the first Norwegian team at the 5th place.

We're interested who will win Jukola 2007.. The relay will start on Saturday, 16 June at 23.00 with a mass start.

151 IF Brahe 1
1 Bart Delobel
2 Vesa Aaltonen
3 Leif Ena
4 Staffan Järn
5 Niklas Lindell
6 Fredric Portin
7 Daniel Stenlund

360 OK Skogshjortarna 1
1 Erik Tholen
2 Karl Larsson
3 Joost Talloen
4 Erik Aamot
5 Mikael Andersson
6 Martin Fredriksson

WHOOEHAAAHHH

Poll World Cup

This wednesday the first World Cup event of 2007 will take place in Lapua. When I was searching for a citymap of Lapua I found out that Lapua is more known for it's ammunition factory.
picture: Ammunition made in Lapua-Finland
I found this information on "Wikipedia":
Lapua is also home to a large ammunition factory, which commenced operations in 1927 as the State Cartridge Factory. This factory was the primary supplier of ammunition to the Finnish Army during the Winter War and World War II.

The first World cup will also be a war between the big federations. The more people that go to the final, the more people can take part in the next World cup race in Norway.
Just vote on this poll (make suggestions if you want to add other names to the poll)

WOC 2001 Video Relay Men

Probably most of you have seen the next video already, but it's a nice one to watch a 2nd time. It's about the men relay during WOC in Tampere, Finland (2001). The Finnish team took a bad start, but what followed, you can see on this Finnish website. (and next the movie: Suomi kahmi suunnistuskultaa – Kooste miesten viestistä).
Also the Belgian team was remarkable during this competition. Fabien Pasquasy took a good start, you'll see that at the first and second spectatorcontrols. Only in his last part of his race, he lost some time. Maybe he can explain us, what happened?
At the end (when the czechrepublic-team is finishing) an other belgian runner is visible on the video. Probably Wim Peers, our 3th runner..

Total results

World Cup Competition 1 & 2: Preview Team Belgium

Nederlandstalige versie onderaan

In the coming 2 weeks competition 1 and 2 of the World Cup 2007 will take place.
Thursday 14 June, 2 sprint races will take place in Finland, most runners will run Jukola a few days later on Saturday.
One week later, Friday 22 June, there is a Middle distance competiton as part of the MicrO O-Festivalen in Norway.

Belgian Team
The Belgian Team for these rounds is as follows:
Competition 1: Fabien Pasquasy (picture), Etienne Van Gasse(picture) , Joost Talloen

Competition 2: Christophe Bernard , Fabien Pasquasy, Etienne Van Gasse, Joost Talloen

Picture: Fabien(left) and Etienne(right), picture from FRSO site

World Cup Rules and Qualification Programme
The rules for the World Cup have changed this year. The IOF site gives a good overview of these new rules and also shows a nice graphic representation of how the new "Qualification Programme" will work.

Here is a short summary:

Competition 1 Sweden: The competition consists of a qualification race with 3 heats followed by A- and B-Finals. The first 17 competitors from each heat qualify for the A-Final and the remaining competitors compete in the B-Final.
Competition 2 Norway: The competition consists of A- and B-Finals only. The 40 best-placed competitors from the A- Final in competition 1 (Finland) together with the 5 best-placed competitors from the B-Final in Finland qualify for the A-Final

The terrain descriptions for the races in Finland from Bulletin 3:

Sprint Qualification: partly open land/ grass (60 %) partly forest with few slopes (40 %), some big buildings with roads, footpaths and parking places. Running shoes are recommended.

Sprint Final: partly urban area but also demanding forest area with moderate slope at the end. Orienteering shoes are recommended. Open land/ grass 30%, forest area 70%.

Hopefully we can see some nice results of the Belgians. The terrain description of the qualification tells us that reaching the final should be possible.

Etienne has proven in the past that he can perform very well in sprint races. Fabien seems to be back in his shape which he had before and has a good feeling about the coming races.
Joost has proven in his first year of serious training and dedication that he can perform very consistently.

Read more about Fabien Pasquasy's goals for these World Cup rounds.

Good luck to the Belgian Team.
De laatste post team will follow the races and keep you up to date.

Nederlandstalige versie

Competition 1: Fabien Pasquasy, Etienne Van Gasse , Joost Talloen
Competition 2: Christophe Bernard , Fabien Pasquasy, Etienne Van Gasse, Joost Talloen

Open land/ grass 30%, forest area 70%.

delaatstepost.blogspot.com exists 1 year!

At this moment the website delaatstepost.blogspot.com exists more than 1 year. The first article was written 06/06/2006; one year and one day ago. In the beginning all the articles were written in Dutch, but because of a link on the famous website worldofo.com, our blog became more international. So a lot of articles are written in English at the moment.
Also the content changed, in the first beginning some 'funny' fictive stories were written about our trip to oringen, in a later developmental stage the articles became more serious and non-fiction.
Most of the articles are focused on national Belgian O-news, but also big international events and news are topics on this webblog. (for example the interview with Thierry Gueorgiou: here)
The reporters/writers on this website are all youngster from all different flemish clubs (except Borasca): Elien Melis, Sofie Herremans, Jeroen, Hoeckx, Thomas Van der Kleij, Jeroen Van der Kleij and Dries Van der Kleij (HAMOK), Joost Talloen (OMEGA), Yves Briers (KOL) and Winston and Desmond Franssen (TROL).
Delaatstepost.blogspot.com is created because of a poverty of Belgian orienteering news on the national and regional websites. On those websites it's easy to find back all the results, rankings and selections. But you never hear the stories about the trips to WOC, WC-events, JWOC, EOC,... Our blog wants to improve the communication to the national and international orienteeringsworld.
An other characteristic of this blog is 'their critical point of view'. We don't always agree with the decissions and rules made by the different federations, commissions and clubs. We can imagine ourselves that not everyone is pleased with this criticism (for example: on the flemish website is still no link findable because of a 'strange' reason). But we try to influence our sport in a constructive way and we really aprreciate the job of all volunteers in our sport.
Also the 'comments' are an interesting part of this website. Everyone is free to give his/her opinion about the orienteeringtopics. Feel free to write some comments about our first year, possible improvements, hints, criticism,... in view of a 2nd year delaatstepost.blogspot.com.
For us, it will be very interesting to see who is reading our weblog, and what we can change to improve our blog. And ofcourse, if you like it this way, feel free to write this down too.
One lesson learned in the Belgian (elite) o-world this year; a better communication will avoid a lot of problems!

Alvast bedankt,

sportieve groeten
